Baubles, a Fun Little Tangle!

Are you ready to have a little fun!
Here is a relatively new tangle I haven't posted yet.
I put it together for the Tangle It! book series.
Baubles.
You are only limited by your imagination!
 Super easy steps.
The hardest part is going to be deciding on the embellishments!
For this particular piece, I decided to forego the embellishments,
and head straight to the color!
This piece was colored with copics and
At You Spica glitter pens.
For this piece I went with some basic embellishing.
And I mixed my baubles in with some bow*petal
for extra zing!
From top to bottom you have:
curlz, bow*petal and baubles, diagonal²,
then reverse the order.

(I am having some issues with my blog, so for now I am afraid to link anywhere. If you are one of the people getting pop-up ads on this blog, would you be so kind as to leave me a comment and tell me if you are using an apple product or pc to view this post. Thanks!)

Have fun with baubles! I would love to see what you do with it!

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve.
It's here already.
This year has flown past.
Seriously.
A lot of changes have happened in my life,
the biggest being the forming of Simalinas.
This is a book company consisting of
Ina Sonnenmoser of Germany,
Simona Cordara of Italy,
and myself.
Since September, we have released four books -
the Tangle It! series.
It has been amazing and fun and intimidating and overwhelming
and busy and hectic and crazy.
And fun.
I love it!
I can't wait to see what 2016 brings to my door.

This particular ATC features several of my tangles:
knights of the round table,
baubles and bow*petal.
So much fun!
Background? Cheap school supply watercolors.
$1.29 on the school row at Wal-Mart.

Bow*Petal, a New Tangle!

Here is a new tangle for you to try.
Bow*petal.
It is fun, it is easy, and it always looks good.
Bow*petal made its debut in the
(Available on Amazon, just click the pink link.)
I use lots of round elements in my tangling.
Bow*petal fits in with geometrics and organics.
Flexible and pretty.
Here I used bow*petal in a coloring page.
See what I mean about lots of round elements.
Hahaha!
Please use bow*petal.
Make it your own, use it in your tangling,
have fun with it.

Thursday String Idea #16

It has been one crazy, crazy week so far!
Trying to meet some deadlines, getting everything finished up,
so I can head to Maine on Saturday.
Day after tomorrow and I haven't even begun packing yet.
I wanted this week's string to be a little different.
Something other than the normal string.
Hahaha! Now that I look at this string,
it reminds me that it is hunting season.
So not what I had in mind.
Oh well.
(To download the string and print at the 3.5" tile size,
And here is what I did with string #16.
I mixed up some of my own tangles and used them together.
Bow*petal, patch, and ringz.
Sadly I haven't posted any step outs to these patterns yet.
Let me work on that.
I should be able to get in one more post before I head out of town. I'll make that be a post with step outs for one of these. Probably ringz. That's the crazy space alien looking one.
I love it. It's my favorite one to draw right now.

So, there you have string #16.
I hope you enjoy working with it.
Again, if you want to print out the string
at the 3.5" tile size, click here.
Have fun!
