Blog Hop to Win Tangle Starts!

 Yay!!!

You have yet another opportunity to win a copy of

Tangle Starts -

My first solo book in the Artangleology Series!

This is just one of the things you can do with

Tangle Starts.

It is literally this - a collection of beautiful backgrounds upon which you can create art.

Whether tangling, drawing, art journaling,

or making collage art -

Tangle Starts is the book for you.

Let me show you what I mean.

This is one of the actual inked backgrounds I made for the book.

This page is in Tangle Starts.

I created it using Dylusions Ink Sprays, a stencil

and a whole lot of water and paper towels.

Then I used a variety of Sarasa Fineliners from

Zebra Pen

to outline those butterflies you see,

and to start adding some details.

Then I pulled in some Sarasa Fineliner Pens in various colors and filled in some areas.

Wink of Stella pens gave me that glitzy glamour

and a Uniball Signo gel pen made the highlight pops.

You can get a better look at what I used for most of my  work here. I just kept adding details until I

was happy.

And I ended up here.

But wait!

I promised you another chance to win a copy of

Tangle Starts.

I started a giveaway in my Facebook group

Some of the tanglers are keeping a record of the new tangles they learn. I am keeping track of mine in my planner. There is room to learn a new pattern every day for a year.

Of course you can use the planner as a . . . planner,

if you wish. It has all the coolest planner stuff -

like monthly spreads featuring our cute little series of owls.

 There are also weekly spreads,

along with weekly tangling prompts.

We even included some coloring prompts!

Information about tangling -

so much more!

AND what I consider to be the coolest part of the planner - 101 brand new tangles developed by Ina Sonnenmoser, Simona Cordara, and myself.

Concise and clear step outs walk you through each tangle, with little tidbits of info spread throughout.

We even included practice boxes where you could keep a record of

each pattern in your own drawing hand.

At the back of the planner we included a thumbnail list of the tangles, in case you can't remember the name, with page numbers of their location in the book.

The Tangle It! Planner has all the normal planner items as well - a place for notes, contacts, goal planning and so much more!

You can purchase a Tangle It! Planner here on Amazon.

Or you can take your chances and head on over to Jane's group

Zentangle: Tangled and Journaled, Too!

and leave a comment in the post.

Good luck!

A Giveaway!

My friend Tracy has a new blog called Copic Classroom. We went to copic certification together, sat at the same table, and talked a little, but really got to know each other a bit more here online afterwards.

Tracy's blog is relatively new and she is trying to build her reader base. One way she is doing this is by offering a TGIF Giveaway.

This week Tracy will be posting several of her beautiful handmade cards (these photos are a sampling of her work, not specifically the ones for the giveaway.) The lucky winner will be able to choose one of Tracy's cards to receive in the mail.

All you have to do to be eligible is to follow Tracy's blog, then check back at her blog next Friday to see who the lucky winner is. Easy peasy! Go here - Copic Classroom - and join her site at the top right-hand side. And share this with your friends! Easy peasy!
