Henna Drum Explored, Diva Challenge #130
This week's Diva Challenge was to use Jane MacKugler's tangle called Henna Drum. This has long been one of my favorite tangles. I don't change it up much because I like it so much just as it is. I loved the flowing lines and the cute little flowers :). I am still away from home, which means none of my regular art supplies are at hand. This color was added from my Wal-Mart watercolor pan set purchased from the new school supplies. And it works just great! Visit Laura's page here to check out all the renditions of Henna Drum and perhaps you'd like to add your own!
Delightful tile! Love the color.
ReplyDeleteThank you, susan, I love adding color. The brighter, the better :)
DeleteWhat a nice colored background in your work. Ik love that colores. Your tangles fit right to the background, they are delicate and yet so powerful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I try to match up the tangles with the color. Doesn't always work, but I try to . Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteLike your background. Compliments Henna Drum well. Do not remember the name of it but looks like one of Helen Williams tangles.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I think you may be right. It is reminiscent of Helen, isn't it?
DeleteYour tile is so delicate and pretty! I love the softness of the colors, and the simple elegant design.
ReplyDeleteI love the double lines on the Henna Drum...it gives the flower a double dose of beauty!
ReplyDeleteLike LeeAnn I Love the double lines. Henna Drum is great on the colored background.

ReplyDeleteLove it! I was on Pinterest the other day and could immediately recognize some of your tiles just from your gorgeous backgrounds--just knew they had to be 'Alice'! =0)
