Alcohol Ink on Yupo
I absolutely love working with these alcohol inks!
I keep finding new colors,
and new color combinations.
I just can't stop!
Their colors are so vibrant and fresh.
I use Yupo paper. It has a plastic coating over it,
making it perfect for the alcohol inks.
I put the color on first,
let it dry completely,
then use a Copic Multiliner pen to tangle.
And I end up with this.
I love it!
This is 5" x 7".
I am thinking a black mat and a lime green frame.
Beautiful, Alice. I like your idea of the black mat and lime green frame. If you do that, would you please show us? I would love to see it.....Thanks and have a great weekend.....Linda E.
ReplyDeletethanks, linda, i will definitely show you :)
DeleteBack mat & lime green frame sounds wonderful - I can see you're in your element with these. The way you've used Hollibaugh with a Printemps background as well as the Rounded Hollibaugh in your design adds lovely interest whilst not detracting from the colours yet still keeping the whole design 'tied together' - waffling a bit but I expect you can decipher my meaning...........
ReplyDeletePaula (PEP)
this was so much fun, paula, and a quick artwork to draw up. the longest part was waiting for the inks to totally dry :)
DeleteThey ARE great colors!!! So far I have eight (out of 17) sets of three! I printed out Ranger's palette and laminated it; then began doing my swatches... Such a pretty sheet! We share the same passion for rich, vibrant color. You were the first I saw using Dylusions and I had to run right out and get them!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeletethank you for telling me this - i'm so glad to hear that some bit of my art inspired you to try something new. :) my collection of alcohol ink keeps growing. i think i'm addicted. hahaha!
