Posts have been irregular lately.
We moved Kali back home after she completed
culinary/pastry arts education in Maryland.
Last week she accepted a job in Colorado -
as a Pastry Chef!
An excellent opportunity for her -
just far away from home.
Last night we emptied out her storage unit
and loaded up the U-Haul.
Finished up this morning with a few last minute things
from the house.
I did mention she was moving to Colorado,
didn't I?
The day she gets there - the high is supposed to be in the 20's.
So, cute little fluffy hats are in order.
Good luck to Kali, Alice you can cry onmy shoulder anytime
ReplyDeletei'm doing better now - now that it's been a little while. and those daily phone calls help :)
DeleteLots of well wishes to Kali, so exciting for her. And Alice good luck with keeping it together, so hard to see your children grow & move away. Keep busy with your Tangles, they are always amazing & I love to see your Art!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care!!!
thank you so much! i've been trying some new things with my art - maybe i'll share some of the 'not awful' stuff :)
DeleteI wish you both the best life has to offer. My son moved out a year ago and it's hard! So, I know where you're coming from. It will get better; it just takes time. You'll find new things in your life that will help. It's a hard change, though. We can cry together!
ReplyDeletewe can cry together any time, dana :) but seriously, i'm doing a bit better. forever is a long time, though.
DeleteGod bless her Alice And her beautiful mom!!! You must be very proud of her!! Go Kali!!! xo
ReplyDeletei am definitely proud of her, lynne! kali is a good girl, she has a sweet, gentle spirit - she didn't get that part from me. she's found a church already and she loves her job.
