It's a Fanta-Sea World
Wow! It's really hard to blogpost from the iPad. This type looks huge. If it seems like I'm screaming at you - - - sorry. I don't mean to.
I finally finished the underwater drawing we started in Melbourne, in Meredith Yuhas' class. Twinkling H2Os, some sea salt, microns, graphite, white charcoal, and a gelly roll pen. That's all it took to make this beautiful, underwater fantasy world. So much fun!
The type looks fine on the post. It looks like you have little pools of sunlight dancing in that underwater world. The little Indyrella shoals of fish are delightful & I like the way you've used different tangles to create a variety of shell shapes.

Thanks, Paula, this was fun to make! Color comes from twinkling H2Os, with a little sea salt mixed in. Really fun and I love those little indyrella guys - such a versatile tangle.
DeleteThis is a lovely underwater piece, better than mine! I have trouble leaving spaces blank, which really helps with this idea.
ReplyDeletethanks, margaret, i still struggle with that, too. so i'm glad it is noticeable in this piece :)
