Zendala Dare #9

Photobucket
This is the zendala Erin gave us this week. I was a bit apprehensive about this particular one. I like it to have a little more detail - it seemed too open.

This is what I came up with. I tried out several patterns I had not used before. And I pulled out mooka - which I've used once. I think I'll try this again later in the week and see what else I can come up with.

Patterns included: mooka, trentwith, flooka, tipple, and beaded. I went for just a touch of color and used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen in the color green star. Join us here to see everyone's zendalas. You can even post one of your own :).

  1. Very pretty. I like the touch of colour and the beaded tangle on the outside. (If that's what that one is!)

  5. Very pretty, and I love your mooka (that's one I'm just not comfortable with - yet). It looks great paired with flooka (new to me). Beaded adds the extra oompff. Lovely!

  8. Great job, the colour is a great way to make the Mooka stand out. I had not come across Flooka before so I will give that one a try now.

  15. Beautiful Zendala! The golden background - is it colored by you or an addition of some kind? It looks lovely and goes so well the the teal center. Love all your Tangles and how you executed them.
