Zendala Dare #9
This is the zendala Erin gave us this week. I was a bit apprehensive about this particular one. I like it to have a little more detail - it seemed too open.
This is what I came up with. I tried out several patterns I had not used before. And I pulled out mooka - which I've used once. I think I'll try this again later in the week and see what else I can come up with.
Patterns included: mooka, trentwith, flooka, tipple, and beaded. I went for just a touch of color and used a Sakura Gelly Roll pen in the color green star. Join us here to see everyone's zendalas. You can even post one of your own :).

ReplyDeleteLove that you didn't let the template lines get in the way of choosing Mooka it's a perfect fit. Also like the mooka variation in the center
ReplyDeleteit's really hard for me to remember i don't have to stick completely to the lines - haha!
DeleteGreat job, the colour is a great way to make the Mooka stand out. I had not come across Flooka before so I will give that one a try now.

DeleteBeautiful Zendala! The golden background - is it colored by you or an addition of some kind? It looks lovely and goes so well the the teal center. Love all your Tangles and how you executed them.
ReplyDeletethank you! the golden background is a sheet of scrapbook paper that i laid the white tile on to take the picture :)
