Making a Huge Mess

I noticed it had been a few days since I last posted. I've been busy reorganizing the studio. Again. This is about a twice a year event. Actually, I was hoping to find some photos that I lost during the last reorganize. Unfortunately they haven't turned up so far.

A very ambitious project. I downsized four 6' bookcases to two. Replaced the plastic see-through drawer carts with wooden cases. Primarily so the Frankles can't see what is in the drawers. 

Hahahaha! She's such a sweetie!

This is all I managed to get done last night. I'm combining the den and a small bedroom worth of art supplies and paraphernalia (that's a law enforcement term) into just the den. The hope is that when I'm finished, the Frankles will have her own bedroom - with a big girl bed and desk area - that she gets to share with my reading corner.

I love my recliner. Still lots of work to get done and I'll post photos when I'm finished,  but first . . .  it's Frankie time for the next 3 days. Love me some Frankie time!

Happy Birthday, Frankles!

Two years ago today our little Frankles arrived - 5 weeks early.

Perfect health. Mom Bobbie was having some problems,

which required Frankie to come a little early.

 She was a tiny little thing.

4 lbs, 9 oz. if I remember right.

That's Jason's hand on her tummy.

I was able to get to the hospital in time to spend

a few minutes with my son before he joined

Bobbie to deliver the baby.

He was scared, nervous, excited, and anxious 

all at the same time.

I think it was the best 15 minutes I ever spent with my son.

Waiting for his daughter to be born.

Brings tears to my eyes - every time I think about it.

These precious little toes are two years old today,

and she's busy running, climbing, jumping.

A busy little girl,

a sport, lots of fun,

happy, and a singer of loud magnitude.

Hahahaha! I love her so much!

I believe flowers are always appropriate for a birthday celebration!

Taking to the Skies

I almost named this post On the Road Again, but I remembered that - - - oh, yeah! I'm flying, not driving! And I have my iPad all ready with the Mockingjay, Part I loaded to watch while I'm trying not to throw up!
I haven't posted in a couple days because the Frankles was here, and it's hard to get around to that when there is so much playing to be done :).
Tomorrow I will be flying to Colorado to spend a week with Kali. Kind of scary honestly.  I didn't do well with the altitude the one other time I was in Colorado. So I'm worried about that. I have medicine that I start taking tonight to help. Praying that it works. So, between now and then I am going to pre-blog several posts of drawings I haven't blogged yet. If you've seen these pictures on Instagram already, sorry.
This isn't really any tangle that I know of. I just call it Just Lines, cause that's all it is. Just a bunch of lines!

Here is just a random bit of cuteness to finish out this post. I put this picture of my granddaughter with her pink guitar on Instagram this morning with the note: Getting ready for her concert. Where is Taylor when you need her? In the hashtags I included #taylorswift. I just got a notification that Taylor Swift is now following my instagram account. Hahahahahaha!
