So I am pretty much having a blast at nighttime
watching Musketeer reruns and playing with my iPad.
The Procreate app is pretty amazing and I don't even
know how to do very much with it yet.
I imported the image above. (I used it for the
cover of my Tangle Starts Strings book.)
Made with alcohol ink on Yupo.
And I started drawing.
Tangles I used include stack, dandelions and abundies.
But first I did this.
Hahahahaha!
Playing with brushes.
So much fun!!!!
But I digress.
Before shading.
After shading with an airbrush.
And I added some other brushes with the paint
spatters. It was pretty awesome to create!
I can see how you played with the colours in brushes with Printemps & Dandelion as your digression piece. Love the way you used purple lines as accents on those triangular sections with the way that use of coloured lines echoes the same colour in the background. Those Dandelion sparks look like fireworks........ perhaps they exploded in the paint to create the alcohol runs with Yupo that look like something was dropped........ funny how the imagination starts. Looks like you're having great fun with this.
ReplyDeleteoh, I love your imagination! this is great fun and something I can do at night while we watch TV. can't really draw on paper as the lighting in that room is terrible. this is relaxing and it's just 'play' so it doesn't matter.
